Drugs!!

Before the Drugs lecture, I hadn’t really considered that the legalisation of drugs would possibly be more beneficial. But I have to agree with Gerry. It does make sense that if drugs are legalised, then they might be better controlled. You don’t necessarily feel rebellious for drinking alcohol, and the initial attraction wears off; you don’t stop going out and getting drunk, but you don’t HAVE to go up town twice a week. You do it if you like it, not because you are breaking the law or whatever gives you kicks. So it could be the same with drugs. You try it once or twice and see how it goes. The fact that it’s controlled means that you can only have a certain amount and there is less likelihood that it is going to be dodgy and put you in a coma. Eventually people could get bored with it like everything else. I found a site called 10 reasons to leagalise drugs. Sounds mad in theory, but it actually makes sense...
