Its been in the newspaper today that John Hogan, the guy who jumped off a balcony with his two children on holiday in 2006 (he and his daughter survived, but his little son died), is having his case reviewed as he may not be guilty. He has been pleading not guilty for reasons of insanity, and it has now been claimed that his mental state may not have been taken into consideration. I'm sorry, but insane or not, he killed his son and under any circumstances, he deserves to be punished for what he has done. His marriage was on the verge of divorce, and that's sad, but if every guy did that to his children when their relationship was on the rocks, there would be a very small population of children! Why should he be able to get away with something so cruel?
If anybody thinks that I'm being too harsh, feel free to say so....
