I think this is actually ridiculous! It was on the news yesterday about the government putting a tax on chocolate in an effort to reduce obesity. In actual fact, it is just another way of them making more money out of us.
People are just going to eat chocolate; the price is going up as it is anyway. People are just going to opt for the cheaper brand rather than dairy milk or galaxy.
Whats next? Is it just me or is the world going crazy? Shouldn't the government be more concerned with the credit crunch, rather than trying to take away everything that makes people happy?
Yes, chocolate is full of calories; as are all the nice things that are bad for you, but its a persons own choice if they have the urge to gorge! Weight has a big impact on health and lifestyle, fair enough, but I really think that this is just completly and utterly stupid.
